数ヶ月もの工程を経て作られています

下地
Basecoat
堅地にてヘラ下地を施し
何回も下地をつけていきます
The hard primer is applied many times.
塗り
Lacquering
下地終了後、
漆を丁寧に塗り重ねていきます
Lacquer is carefully applied over the surface.
呂色
Roiro
呂色とは漆の鏡面仕上げを指します
塗り上がり後、刷毛目を炭で研ぎ、
角粉と油で磨きをかけ
深く美しい鏡の面のような
底艶のある肌に仕上げます

銀板
Silver plate
飾金具師が頭の中に図柄を描き
100本を超えるタガネを用いて
模様を刻みあげていきます
The design is drawn in the mind, and the pattern is engraved using more than 100 taganes.
